Welcome to Amperio! We're delighted to help you "Ride the current". These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (amperio.co.uk) and the purchase of our fantastic electric bikes. By accessing our site and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website. We recommend that you print a copy of these Terms for future reference.

2. User Obligations

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use our site:

  • In any way that breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • To transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material (spam).
  • To knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or other harmful programs.

You are also responsible for ensuring that all information you provide to us, such as your name, delivery address, and payment details, is accurate and up-to-date.

3. Intellectual Property

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights on our site, and in the material published on it. This includes, but is not limited to, the Amperio name, logo, "Ride the current" tagline, images, text, and website design. These works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved. You may not use any of our intellectual property without our express written permission.

4. Orders, Payments, and Contract

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order. A legally binding contract between you and us will be formed when we send you a further email confirming that your order has been dispatched.

Accepted Payment Methods: We want to make your checkout experience smooth and secure. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • PayPal
  • Shopify Payments

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.

5. Order Cancellation Policy

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your goods. To cancel, you must inform us in writing (e.g., by email). You must then return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel. The bike must be returned in an unused, 'as new' condition. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item. We will issue a full refund, including the original standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract. However, we will not be liable for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms, their subject matter, and their formation are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

8. Dispute Resolution Process

We hope you have a five-star experience with Amperio. However, if you do have a complaint, please contact our customer service team first at hello@amperio.co.uk. We will do our very best to resolve the issue for you. If we are unable to resolve the dispute, we may suggest using an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider, though you are not obliged to use one.
